Book review of ‘I Found You’ by Lisa Jewell

I found you by lisa jewell eBook

I’m thrilled to have stumbled upon you, Lisa Jewell! Without your novels, my reading goal for the year would have been as lost as my keys on a Monday morning.

I Found You is truly one of her masterpieces, in the format that I’m beginning to embrace. Just like some of her previous work, this novel unfurls from three distinct perspectives, all converging to weave a captivating tale.

In 1993, Graham ‘Gray’ and his younger sister Kirsty, are vacationing together with their parents in Ridinghouse Bay for the summer. His alarm bells go off however, when 15 year old Kirsty is being pursued by an older boy. Gray struggles to articulate his concerns to his family but he cannot shake the feeling that there is darkness surrounding the 18 year old Mark.
