Planning your next trip to Gdańsk? Make sure to check out the below restaurants and venues for some of the tastiest dishes and drinks this wonderful city has to offer.
Breakfast – ‘Zoe’s Bistro‘

Don’t miss out on this cute and atmospheric bistro in the perfect location- up the stairs, just by the river, few steps away from the iconic old town. I highly recommend to try out their breakfast menu – avocado toast was particularly tasty. The bistro stays open till late afternoon with much bigger selection to offer, such as dinners, coffees and desserts.
Dinner- ‘Publiczna‘ Pizza

For a simple dish yet one of absolutely amazing quality, head over to Publiczna for their Neapolitan style pizza. Incredibly tasty, this pizza left me satisfied with the meal, without the impending feeling that my stomach was going to explode. If you’re staying at Dwór Uphagena, then visiting Publiczna is a must as it’s located right around two corners. It also serves as a café during the early hours!
Drinks – ‘Flisak ’76‘
This venue was hands down the best recommendation I got from my friends who are long time Gdańsk residents.
Hidden behind inconspicuous street entry, it is located underground and is currently offering Fairy-tale themed drinking experience. I believe the themes change from time to time, offering a unique and innovative experience each time.

Each drink is based on one of the classic stories, such as ‘Alice in Wonderland’ or ‘Aladdin’, and it’s so worth checking out. The staff were lovely, telling us the tales when they brought the drinks over, offering supplemental water and crackers. With amazing décor and hip-hop playing from the speaker, this place is a vibe in its own league. It became highlight of my Gdańsk night life.

For LGBTQIA+ friendly bar, I’d also recommend you check out Pub Red Light, it carries amazing energy.
All Day, Every Day – ‘Łąka Bar‘
The cherry on top, the one restaurant I found myself coming back to over and over again, and not just because it was right beside my hotel, Dwór Uphagena.

Łąka (Meadow) Bar fucked with my senses in the best way. I’ve experienced textures I’ve never felt before. Items I didn’t think work well together, did. Ingredients I didn’t think to eat for breakfast, worked great. This place mastered fusion. It was simply amazing, the food was not only prepared well but also presented beautifully and the whole restaurant was stunning, and all with an Asian twist. Highly, highly recommend checking it out!
