A philosophical approach to confidence, you will not find much self-guide in this small read.
It’s divided into 10 chapters, each looking at it from different perspective. The practical examples are rare and it’s more a collection of thoughts rather any concrete proof of what works to try and increase your confidence skills.
It is a short read and while it might not provide its readers with actionable tasks to try out, some might find it thought provoking, which I think meets the book’s purpose.
There are some good key takeaways to note:
Even the people who seem to have it all figured out, might be experiencing the same feelings as you. Nobody knows what they’re meant to be doing.
Realise and acknowledge how difficult tasks will be before you start them to avoid the hard realisation.
Failure is normal so don’t be afraid to try new things.
